300ex shocks on 250ex

Default 300ex shocks on 250ex

does ne one know if 300ex front shocks will fit right up to a 250ex without modified brackets?
ne feedback would be nice! thanx!

I don't see why you would want to do this in the first place.... A set of aftermarket shocks that are actually designed for your quad would work out much better then some mongoloid setup.

Maybe he doesn't have the $400.00+ to spend on after market shocks!

You must have missed the point... sure you can save $$ putting on some stock shocks off a 300EX (if you can even fit them) but why waste your money on something that will more then likely have no gain in performance if not a decrease. 300EX shocks are nothing special they aren't even very good on a 300EX....

both are right... no money to buy $400 + shocks and i was gonna buy used 300ex shocks (aftermarket) off ebay

Default 300ex shocks on 250ex

They will fit because I bought aftermarket 300ex shocks off ebay (couldn't find them for the 250ex) and i fit them in there with no problem. You won't have to modify the brackets but I had to modify the bushings for the bolt to fit nice and tight. I had to use washers for the shock to fit tight against the brackets though. The shock that I bought was smaller on top. All I did is use some washers and the old bushings from the stock shock and it fits fine. If you look on ebay right now, there are some works performance shocks made for the 250ex so you won't have to do any modifying.
