I was surfing and stumbled upon this informative site. I was purchasing a car this weekend and the seller had a nice Honda ATV for sale. The fact that he was local made it very interesting. I ended up purchasing the 1993 Honda 300 from him. I have owned motorcycles in the past, but never had a quad. The odd question that I had, is how do you put them in reverse?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] I also was wondering if there was any particular areas that I should pay attention to as far as servicing the unit.

Assuming your talking about the Fourtrax 300 rather than the EX, you need to put it into neutral, then press the red "R" button by the left hand brake while pulling in the left hand brake, then press the gear shift once. The Reverse light should come on.

Good luck with the 300. If it has been well taken care of, it should hold up well.

For manuals, they can be ordered direct from Helm Inc., they sell the factory service manual the Honda dealers use and also sell the Factory owners manual that would have come wiht your quad originally.
