I want one. I cannot find no where in a magazine or on a website where it shows a carb is for a 400ex. I don't want to pay 450 dollars for the 39 whatever it is. I want to stay in the 200 dollar range. Someone PLEASE help.

 

I do not think you are going to find anything that is better than your stock carb for less than $200. I'm not trying to be mean, just realistic.

You can buy basic 38mm and 39mm Keihin PWK's, but those do not have accelerator pumps. With a 4 stroke, I think the accelerator pump is worth a lot when it comes to throttle response. If you have not put a Dynojet kit in your stock carb, get yourself one of those. Makes a pretty nice difference.
