How do you set idle on TRX 90?

How do you set idle on TRX 90?
I just finished rebuilding the motor on my sons Honda TRX 90. After starting it for the first time it idled like crap. I took the carb. apart and cleaned it out. Now it starts and runs fine.
I had to adjust the pilot screw and the throttle adjustment screw after putting it all back together. The manual calls for it to be set at 1600 RPM. I adjusted it by ear and it smoothly shifting into first gear. Do they make some type of tool to measure the RPM on a small single engine? If so, can you give me some names and prices on one? Thanks DennisC

How do you set idle on TRX 90?
I use one similar to this Tach/hour meter I've had mine for 3 years now and the battery is still going strong.
