Well the one I raced in the TT and Flat track was stock. My 400ex is stock except for a slip on. I won the Flat track. Raptor second. Raptor won the TT. I was second. The track was short and whoever go the holeshot usually won. There were a couple of DS650's there too.

I'm from Marshall Co. I was racing in Greenville, KY. There is an indoor series going on now.

I really wish I could ride a raptor or even hear one in person. I need to know how it feels before I can make any comments on it. It seems that it would have no problem (by looking at specs) beating a 400ex....and I have a 400ex.
The 400 is a great machine for me...But I'm used to my banshees power...which makes my particular 400ex seem really tame.(no mods)
The 400 seems really tippy to me compared to my banshee...and yes the raptor looks even taller than the 400. Is a worked up 400/440 ex that much more powerfull than stock?....I have been riding for years and my 400 comes nowhere close to my banshee(mods though).
I think the 400ex is a great reliable quad for trails, playing and even mild racing. But I was not happy with the power I expected it would put out.

 

Steelme, what you forgot to mention was that the 250r's smoked the raptor as well as the 400ex,s and had time to drink a beer before they ever got to the finish.
