I was just wandering what my quad was worth. It has an FMF Megamax II Pipe on it (bought for 250) and and Airtfilter ($40) I also bought a 4'X 8' trailer for $500. It really hasnt been ridden that much or that hard. Maybe 100 hours or less. Do you think $5300 is too much cause I would like to put it right back into a brand new one.

why are you are selling your 400ex and going right back and buying a new one if you don't mind me asking. i would say around 5000w/ the trailer.

 

STOP! Just buy the yellow plastic and black seat from the dealer. I ordered it for mine, but sold it for a raptor. The prices from my dealer were:

Yellow Front Fender $116
Yellow Rear Fender $88
Black Seat $68
Yellow Gas Tank Cover $14

But if you insist on selling your machine to get the new yellow one, I'll give you an idea for what mine went.

2000 400EX with Complete Big Gun Exhaust, including quite core, race core, and spark arrestor, Full DG Skids, DG Six Pack Rack, DG Nerfs, Moose Bars, Maxxis All-Trak 22x11x10 tires on Douglas .190 Aluminum Wheels, K&N Filter, Dyno Jet Kit, Shock Wears all around, Outerwears on the filter, with the stock exhaust, filter, and foot guard assembly's. $4400.00 took it. It was in MINT condition, and ran like a raped ape, but didn't have reverse, so I sold if for the Raptor.

If I were you, I'd just get the Yellow Plastic, and new Black Seat. You'll save yourself a lot of aggrivation, and could probably buy Works Shocks for the front end with the money you'd otherwise lose to sales tax, registration, and depreciation.
