i just got the 06 450r and don't know where to start....is the HRC kit worth the money? if not what exhaust is the best for honda's. what about reed valves or other mods, please advise with as much info as you guys can thanks........also i am putting on a +4 swingarm where can i find a good deal on other goodies for my bike.....

 

Sounds like you are a bit off track. But you are here asking questions so that is good. Your bike does not have reeds it is a four stroke. Two stroke quads and dirt bikes have reeds. How much do you have to spend? Why would you want a +4 swing arm? Where do you ride? Any other related info would help. Also, you should consider looking back at old threads. You will probably answer all of you questions looking back and maybe more. Also, check atvriders.com and go to the forums and read some past posts there at the trx450r section. There is a ton of info there also.

 

I would start with the HRC kit and have your dealer install it for you. I have one on my 450 and its a great combo for all types of riding.

 

YES an HRC kit is worth the money and once you get a full exhaust on there you'll really be favin fun,but yes the HRC kit is a great start
