Why would you race 1/4 mile on the street anyways? You'd be in top gear long before 1/4 mile. The kids around here riding on the street have really been screwing up the riding for everyone....keep it on the trails to keep the neighbors off the phone, unless your neighbors are a lot less likely to call the law than the ones here are.
A kid around here got killed running from a cop a few weeks ago...not good for him, his family, and public perception of quad riders.
Not trying to rain on your parade, just use some sense when you're out there.

were i am from they race on a dragway...

therefore there will be no cops..

second of all i was asking a question if i was going to ride on the trails i would i have plenty of trails and stuff like that and on my rode it is all family. so no one calls the cops...

You should have no problem getting around the z but I would cut your race in half. Unless you are draging down the 1/4 mile track like you said, it might come down to the top speed. I've raced 1/4 mile before and it took every bit of rpm in 5th gear to get me there. Hey if you kill him by half track, that's all that matters. Good luck and hit your shifts!
