personally, I think some chain lube that is "o ring safe" actually sends your chain to hell. I know that dirt is bad on chains, and PJ1's stuff is EXTRA sticky, so it just collected huge gobs of crap on the ride, and I had to have an emergency WD-cleaning. Now, I use bel-ray's 6-in-1, and its easily the best. It's slimy and dirt just flings off. For you, I reccomend maybe at least installing zurks in your suspension pivots and on shock ends.

take your swingarm bolt out now while you still can and put anti-seize compound or grease and then retorque to 80 ft/lbs. If your swingarm bolt seizes (and they are known for this on the 400ex), it is incredibly difficult to get it back off....often requiring cutting with a torch. You should do this every 6 months.
