I have an 05 TRX450R so I have done alot of reserch on them. Out of all the studies and tests done on these motors, the best exhaust found for them is the Yoshimura. It is also one of the most expensive. I am going with the FMF Factory4 exhaust system. It was in the top 5 and its alot cheaper. The White Bros. aluminum series was just a little better than the FMF and its a little more expensive than the FMF. You will notice a big difference in power by putting a pipe on it, but you won't notice any difference between the top 5 pipes unless you put them all on a dyno because there is very little difference, thats why i'm going with the FMF.

FMF Factory 4 full system (muffler and PowerBomb header), EHS Racing airbox lid (Outerwears cover), and Pro-Design adapter and foam (UNI) air filter.

My bud just bought a new '05 and he has now installed a stage two Hotcams and an HMF sport series full system and K&N and it pulls as hard as my HRC '06 on a flat drag and slightly more on a 800ft hill drag. It's not as loud as I expected but compares almost identical to a Sparks system in sound and performance. I HIGHLY recommend this setup and I have proof from this last weekend of riding at the dunes!

Now for my opinion on exhaust, the woods pipe is quite ear peircing and way to loud for me but if you're one of those people who says "if it's louder, it must be better" then it's all yours.
Top picks not in order:
HMF, Sparks, Rossier

I goofed on my last post. Acordind to all the test results the Rossier pipe was #1, Yosimura #2, White Brothers aluminum series #3, FMF Factory 4 was #4 and i don't remember what was #5. Hope this helps.
