Any one put a winch on their Recon? Good move or bad? or is it just more weight for an under powered quad or can it help keep the front end on the ground while hill climbing?

 

I don't know what's wrong with your Recon to make it feel underpowered to you,but mine goes great with the winch on it.The Recon is a tough quad to beat-for a 250 it goes great.Good luck

 

Nothing is "wrong" with the Recon. Its great for what it is, but its no power house when compared to my Warrior. It's just fine for my 12 year old daughter and she loves it. Just wanting to know if it worth doing or not from someone who has.

 

It's worth it if you are in the mud most of the time.Also keep in mind that the Warrior is a sport 350cc when comparing it's power to the utility 250cc on the Honda.Good luck
