You are right about that xepathfinder. I would never bash anyones quad. I have had the Honda and the Polaris, and both are great. Each quad has it own merits and both are very reliable. I have never had any mechanical problems with either. I think it all depends on how you maintain them. If you take care and ride light like I do, they will last a lifetime. I do think I need to change my name now. I was blue... but now I think I will have a choice come January. Hubby has 400EX and we were thinking of MiniMeEX... LOL

all i know is that they suck. their really heay and if u want a sport quad u can get a blaster for less money and the mojave forlike 100 bucks more! it proboly makes a petty good trail bike though. but if u want a trail bike get the 300EX. i like honda but i think it was dumb of them to make a 250EX when they already have the 300.

 

I believe that they are dunlop's, not Ohitsu's. Same basic tread pattern as the 400's though

I heard the reason they made the 250ex was to replace the 300ex. So the little one would be the 250ex the mid one would be the 400ex and I have heard rumors that they are making a 650ex. Just a rumor I heard. Dont quote me on this

 

Replace a 300 with a 250? Honda has a marketing strategy all there own thats for sure.

 

Where in the world did you hear this rumor? It amazes me that people would repeat something they know nothing about. And to the person who says that the 250EX would be more than I can handle. I ride a 400EX with no problems... so you may want to retract that statement too. I wish everyone would mind their manners in here.

 

The only prob. I've had with Recon is the crappy shocks. I want them to die so that I can buy good ones.

 

Earlier you said you were having trouble running into trees and falling off of your quad. Maybe you should consider just riding 2 up with your husband, for safety sake.

 

i heard the 500-650EX rumor too but i never heard anythign about the 250 replacin the 300. why didn't they just focus all their enegery on the 650 and keep the 300 and not make the 250. if that rumor is true which i hope its not then i think honda is makin a mistake.

 

The did a write up about the new TRX250EX in the December issue of Dirt Wheels. They say is uses a better suspension. You might want to take a look at it.
