Never realized how lucky I had it with riding areas.

Most of the people that live within 5 miles of my house, including me, ride at an old open-pit iron mine owned by Smith and Co. of Conroe, TX. It has great jumps, bumps, whoops, everything! ATV, dirt bikes, and JEEPs all go there.

Man, I'm really spoiled then, where i live there is a huge area of dunes, a beautiful area of dunes called Red Sands. Don't know who its owned by if its owned by anyone. All I know is that 5 miles away from my house is a quad haven!

I live in Michigan and as far as the trails go there great but far. I have to dive almost two hours to get to the good trails. As far as keeping them open we have to cleanup after ourselfs. Last weekend I took my Raptor out for the first time to Bull Gap in the Huron Nat. forest. It was the first time I went riding in about four years. Every garbage can was empty with trash all around them. I don't understand it. We read on these froum everyday that people are trying to close these rinding areas and people are up in arms about it and still they can throw there trash away. Wake up! Don't give them anymore reasons to close our trails it just makes there case stronger. Throw your trash away.
