I was wondering how often should you change diff oil? I have almost 1900 miles and has not been changed once. I am getting ready for a ride in 2 weeks at Black Mountain. Should I change it before that? Thanks for the help.

 

on my rancher i changed it at 500 and 1000 miles and im about to change it again at 1800. Check it to see if its foaming or looks milky if it does change it right away means theirs water in it. Your manul tells you wat kind to put in it.

 

Do I have to take the guard off to take the plug out on the rear? Because there are holes in the guard but there is a piece of rubber in the way so I can't get a socket on it.

 

im not sure on a rubicon on my rancher i got easy axx to both rear and front if its like a rancher thiers 3 bolts a top bolt to put it in a side bolt to check the level and a bottom to drain.
