I am having some problems with my 04 450 Foreman. It will start and run but it bogs down when i give it gas. I am going to change the air filter but i am having problems locating the fuel filter. If anyone has any clues as to where it is located i'm needing help. Or maybe any other reasons for my problems. Thanks! Any suggestions are greatly needed.

 

i dont thk your bike has a fuel filter its not fuel injected its carb. Id take the bowl off your carb and make sure nothing is in their clogging up your jets, Also make sure your float is not sitcking. and check your gas lines to make sure their not clogged up.

 

Thanks for the info. I will try that as soon as possible. I sure appreciate the advice. Maybe one of those will work. I am just hoping it is nothing major. I just got the bike so this is the first time i have had to work on it. Thanks again.

 

doubtful its major my rancher did same thing when i put in my jet kit and it was the float sticking. But a uncle managed to get a leaf in his carb one time and it caused his bike to bog down.

 

i probably got some bad gas from this dang store i shouldn't have. i should have known better. i was just in a hurry to ride sunday.

 

lol with gas prices no one will be able to afford to ride right now gas is 2.89 here
