cr500 motor?

Default cr500 motor?

Can you put the cr500 motor in any of the quad frams like the 250r, banshee, 400ex, or anything that is a quad? thanks.

Anything is possible with the know how, the right tools and money. My buddy has a CR500 engine in his 400ex. The swap has been done many times on different machines.

Default cr500 motor?

if i had a rolling chassie and a cr500 motor do i have to do any moding to the frame for the cr500 motor to fit or anyting else or can i just put it right in?

Welcome to the forum MrDaddy, if you have a welder and some decent fabricating skills it shouldnt be that tough. If not it, could be a major nightmare.

Like everyone else said, if you have fabricating skills it can be accomplished. If not, I wouldn't even worry about it, or find a buddy with those skills.

I just read this a little slower.

There is no way that you are going to just be able to unbolt a engine and bolt in the new/different one. There will be lots of mods.

whatever u plan on doing, u will need to fabricate and/or fasten some rubber engine mounts since that motor is non-counterbalanced. good luck.
