i need some new tires for my 2002 recon - what size/ kind of tires can be put on the factory rims? I ride in the woods/ trails - some mud - snow. Any suggestions. the factory tires don't leave a lot of choice for replacements.

 

Hey,I have a 04 recon and am faced with the same challenge I found out that you can put any size tire aslong as its a 11inch rim for the front and a 9 inch on the rear. I might be putting mud lites on all four corners.

 

I've put Maxxis Razr2s on the rear last year. Love em. They hook up and wear great. Didn't seem to bog the bike down or change the riding characteristics. I need to change out those Dunlops in front for the Razr2s. The rim would need to be changed to the 22 10x5 from an older 250ex. Anyone done this sucessfully? Is the offset OK?
