400EX Pipes????

You will need to jet your carb when you install the pipe. The K&N filter will be a huge improvement over your stock filter. Just be sure to install the new filter before you jet your carb.
Install a 14t front sprocket and get new tires and your Yoshi quad will ROCK!!!!!
I'll email you a pic of my quad.

I installed the slip-on WB R-series pipe this last week. IT IS VERY LOUD! Not the kind of setup you want for long trail rides. I noticed better takeoff at the MX track, but I'm not sure if the pipe or track conditions made the bigger difference. Fit and finish is A++... a major improvement over the Big Gun on my DR. Price, lack of info, and questions with fit and finish steered me away from DMC. But for all out mod engines, the DMC gets the most endorsements.

WB does not make a head pipe for the R4 slip on. I found this out after I called WB to order a head pipe. They do make a R4 complete system for $480. So if you plan any future mods (cams, port, bigger bore) go with a complete system. I found this out the hard way.

Go for the LRD. Get it chrome and it will run right at $360. Don't know any certain hp gains. But i know i can smoke other piped, jetted, and filtered ex's and mine is all stock except for pipe. I beat others from top to bottom and gained about 8 mph on top end.
