I am talking about my 400ex and it easily beats at least two 660s
Was your EX in the bed of a truck when it did it? Cause thats the only way it could. =]

I have done my research. The research is I have rode on trails with one, rode at the sand dunes with another and both broke down. The only other one i have experience with was brand new and I would hope that it wouldn't break, but i would not be surprised. Yes a z250 is an entry level quad, but a very reliable one at that. It has never left me even with all the mods i have done to it. This is my first quad and I am learing how to work on them with this one. I bought a cheaper quad because I didn't want to spend $5799 on a z400 and me never having a quad before, have it sit in my garage and never ride it. I did not have any idea that riding would be so much fun and at least every other weekend I take a trip somewhere and ride, and in the meantime im riding where ever i can. Now the plans are to get a bigger quad and use what i have learned from this one on a bigger bike. O and by the way, its too bad you don't live in my area because I would show your warrior how much of "childs" quad my b ike is. I have no doubt that I would embarrass your warrior. Nah, the power of a 350x is comparable with a Warrior and the 400ex beats the Warrior.

Same reason you wasted your money on a warrior. Because I chose to. And why buy a 400ex when you could have gotton a 450R...... My point exactly. Different strokes different folks. What kind of car do you drive? Why didn't you buy that Ferrari Enzo instead? So all of you stop with the B.S. about a Z250. I still have less than $4000 in a very fun bike that happens to be pretty fast for 250cc's.

Almost anyone who has owned a Warrior at one point in time will say that this quad has PROVEN to be reliable, ever wonder why it wasn't changed in the 17 years it was produced?
our family has owned 4 of them since 1988. none of them broke. but they did change it in 1990--they moved the engine back in the frame a few inches, took off the recoil starter, moved the lights up from their original location, changed something with the carb to prevent the gas from "boiling" inside of it, ever so slightly changed something with the suspension, changed the wheels and tires, and of course after this year they went nuts with a myriad of crazy color schemes.

I never hated mine - it really was a good bike - and ground breaking in its day- first quad with 6speed trans and reverse that can be engaged in any forward gear and a decent, not great, suspension. now time has proven the warrior to be reliable and aged, and, it will not beat a 400EX in any race....unless you mod it. change the cam, carb, airfilter, pipe and it kinda wakes up. and change the shocks! i would buy a good used one if i had the chance - to me the 6speed config made it a great trail/exploration machine and you have to remember this quad was originally marketed as a "sport/utility" bike - meaning it spanned several categories. it was later that they dropped the "utility" designation from the marketing and specifications, but i did pull stuff around the yard with it with no problems. ever.

it must be mentioned that its original nemesis, the honda 250X, was a much better handling bike. the 300ex isnt too bad either and both will hold a candle to the warrior in terms of speed, versatility and reliability with the warrior getting the nod for slighly higher top speed and better "utility." but dont ever say the warrior is crap and unreliable b/c it just isnt true.
