My 02 Foreman has been having a problem lately. It runs fine and idles fine for an hour or so but then it starts to act up. I have to stay on the throttle a touch when im in neutral or stopped to keep it running and when I shut it off I have to give it some throttle to start it back up? It goes fine when all this is happening, no loss of power or anything abnormal that I can tell, but it wont idle. I tried turning my idle up but that didnt make difference? It seems to be running a bit on the hot side as well, my fan is on more than normal. It has fresh oil and regular tune-ups as well. Any suggestions?

 

plugged pilot jet? Clean the carburetor out. Adjusting the idle speed screw should take care of some of the issue though.
