well they have a pretty price tag on them to....i was also wonderin wut is the real purpose toward shaving fenders if there is one

 

what were you planing on shaving the fenders off of? if its the 400 or 450 it would look cool.I have seen some 450's and 400's with cut fenders and it looks sweet.basicly the only purpose is for style,maybe....maybe so the mud does not way the quad down.but once you cut mud willl get sprayed all over you.

 

i seen a 400 with them shaved and liked it so i had it done to mine....i find the fenders on the 450 realy doesnt help any except for about a inch of the tire

 

I think it looks cool with the fenders off.

 

i think it also give it more of a sporty look

Can you wheelie any of your quads?

 

yea...ive goten a wheelie on all of them..i find the 450 wrk real good for wheelies and so does the 700, just hit the gas, the 400 take a lil more to get one but ive been able to get one n 3rd on it

 

I can wheelie my recon for about 50yards.as for the 450,my freinds got a 06 and he can wheelie it for ever.

 

ah how old are you and lets see some pics, what year 450, maybe get the hrc kit , pipe, and a arms and swingarm cause i know the front end on mine likes to come up everytime i roll on the gas. but lets see some pics
