Default Reverse wire on RANCHER ES

Little Bill set me straight on where this wire was and it works great now, but it keeps getting knocked of while driving through the woods.

I plugged it back on yesterday and then pulled the wire up to another group of wires and used a wire-tie to secure it there. I'm thinking of putting a "protector plate" on the belly pan to keep the branches out of there for good. The branches and brush keep getting up throught the spaces on the beely pan and ripping that reverse wire off of the stud.

Has anyone else had this problem??

Kev

we are talking about the reverse sense wire, not the angle wire, we are dealing with the es 350, not the auto sorry

I squeezed that thing down tight. So tight I had a hard time getting it to snap back on. My main problem is twig/branches. The county I live in, (Like the other half of the state) is 90% forest. The trails we ride on are not groomed or gravel. They are mostly skidder trails that have tons of slash and debris left in the wake of the tree harvesters. We are constantly having to stop and remove branches from the belly-pan/suspension parts. After driving through and over millions of branches and slash, it is only a matter of time before one of them hits just the right spot to "pluck" that wire from the engine. (It happened three times in 4 hours of riding Sunday.)

To keep this from happening again, I'm making an extra guard to block this area completely. Along with this guard, I'm making some steel A-arm/CV boot guards.
