Drop offs under water just off shore is common. I'm glad that you were not hurt. Hope the atv runs fine. post us the news when you get time.

Default Fourtrax 350es in 20 feet of water!

Well I had to change the oil four times to get all the water out, changed the rear end & differentials fluids two times.
It started up right away!
Took it out for about a run for about one hour, it won't shift(electric) all the time, no flashing gear indictator just won't shift up or down, turn the key off & back on and it will shift maybe, then it won't again, after a while it seemed to be shifting ok but somethings no right.
What could I check?
Any help greatly appreciated

Cheers
JP

I don't know much about the machine. I would get some WD-40 and unplug EVERY (literally every one you can find) connector and spray it liberally with WD-40 to dispell the water. I would then put some electrical grease (like you would put on a spark plug boot) on all of the electrical connectors and the plug wire before I plugged them back in. I would spray the CDI box the "es" box and any other electrical box with the WD-40 and try it. EVERY (literally every one you can find)

Check all the fuses or better yet repalce them as some will still hold water. Might cure the shifter problem if It has a fuses protecting it?
