Yep,
Lost the bike in a lake.
It was in the water for about 15 minutes before my buddy managed to dive down and hook on a winch cable.
Towed it back to camp.
Got it home & in my garage drained the oil, & gas.
Oil was like white gravey.
Going to change rear end & differental fluids as well.
Anything else I should ckeck or do?
Cheers

I've cleaned motors before that have been submerged. The best way I know is to fill the motor completely with oil. Clear to the top. Let it sit for 24 hours, then gently crack open the oil drain. As it sits undisturbed, all the water is forced to the bottom because of the oil "floating" on top. When you gently crack-open the oil drain plug, the water will drip out first. Once you see no more water, then remove the plug completely and you should be all-set to for the oil/filter change.
Just be sure to clean and dry the air box and filter along with the snorkle/air intake tube.

BTW- you MUST share how it got it 20' of water!

you could do what the above post said, or just buy some cheap atv oil and a couple filters and change oil like 3 times on it. The last oil change put the oil and filter you want to keep in it and then if the oil looks good on the last drain, go out for a couple hour ride to get the engine warm and evaporate any left over water.
we did basically the same thing to my buddies 2001 350ES, completely submerged in water UPSIDE DOWN
we drove it the rest of the day too after we got it running, never changed any fluids. progably a bad idea on our part but it still runs like a champ!
i love my 350. can't bust 'em.
