Winch Recommendations
#3
I have a Gorilla 2500lb winch on my 300 and I love it. It has held up great, every ride it gets submerged under water pretty much all day, and it never misses a beat. I would recommend the Gorilla brand to anyone who wants a good winch at a great price. I think I paid $110 shipped for it off of ebay.

All winches are close when it comes to performance and durability but if you want the best I would have to say Warn (you get what you pay for philosophy )

well i use my winch almost daily. and one the days it is used it's ALOT lifting a plow, so up and down. ALOT and it has bulled my jeep out of a snow bank among other things.
it's a Warn 3000 the new one. and i love it. i have had others but the silinoid or switches don't last as long. and they are not quit the same as a warn. But that is my $.02

I just ordered the Gorilla 2500 from the internet. $106 with a mounting plate and shipping included.
The Warn equivelant is $350 and you DON"T get a mounting plate and still have to pay shipping. The Warn is probably better, but at these prices I can buy 3 Gorillas and still be cheaper.
Maybe the Warn will outlast the 1st Gorilla, but I'm betting that it wouldn't out-last 3 of them.
