Default HELP, Im READY TO BUY

Looking into buying a new 4 wheeler this year..Not sure on what to buy..I rode a 400ex yesterday and was suprised at the power those 4 wheelers have stock...The question that i have tho is, Do the 300ex have as much of a responsive power and as much fun as the 400? This would be just for a daily ride on the dirt roads around my house and whatnot..nothing too extreme..Im 20 yrs old and i weigh about 120 lbs...If this helps any on the topic.. Thanks in advance.

No matter what you get, you"ll get used to it and want more power. I think you would like the 400ex but I've sure have heard alot of good things about the 300ex. I've got a 250ex that I rejetted and added a slip on pipeand it has power to spare. As long as you get a Honda you"ll be happy!

First, I hope these dirt roads are legal to ride on. Second, you are going to want more power for a daily dirt road rider. Sure, a 300EX can be every bit as much fun as the 400, but I would go with a 400 class quad over the 300EX.

How tall are you? At 120 pounds, you can certainly go with a medium size machine, if you aren't to tall.

The 300EX has quite a bit less motor than the 400EX, and unfortunately it weights about the same. It is perhaps the best tight trail quad of all time! It's smaller size makes it more maneuverable, and it fits between the trees more easily.

If I weighed 120 pounds and I wasn't to tall, I would be shredding trail on a Blaster!

Seriously, when I had my 300ex about 3 years ago, I was weighting about 110 pounds and after a while, I felt it was really but really too slow for me. I would seriously consider the 400 class if money is not an issue. You aren't going to 'Kill yourself' on a 400ex!

id go with the 400ex. once you get used to a machine, it will feel slower, and in the beginning, it will only be as fast as you push it to be. i love when people say the 450r has enough power stock, then think about the things people do just to make them faster

who in the world wants to go 90mph+ on a 4-wheeler? someone with a death wish???? if your a beginner and looking to die then go with a 400ex or better yet 450r but if you just want to get into riding a quad and money 'isnt an issue' then get the 300ex, especially if your going to ride ANY trails. believe me, with what i have seen with the 400's and 450's you could very easily 'kill yourself' on one of these 200lb jet engines on wheels. just my .02 cents tho maybe i'm a 6'0 200lb ***** that would get knocked around by one of these badass 110 lb'ers.
