Only if you don't have enough sitting around doing nothing money that you can't buy another one if it gets totaled or ripped off.I did one better and have replace insurance which cover my bike for $8700 Canadian even thought its a 97.It,s nice to know that if anything happens my only promblem will be what color to get.

If you financed it, you'll probably be forced to insure it anyway. Whatever you do, don't go through Progressive, they're crooks.

In my opinion, yes. Your ATV represents a big investment, and can cause serious liability damage as well.

I'm including two links to previous insurance discussions. Hope they help:

Give me the low down on Progressive. I just insured my Raptor with them. If they don't honor their coverage, I want to know now!

Check this thread out. It was discussed in depth and there’s even the low down on ATV-Line. I’m just curious but Bash what was your quote from ATV-Line and for what kind of coverage? If you read the thread you will see all the research that a few of us did a while back for a 400EX. We got some insane number from ATV-Line. I ended up going with State Farm.

Nothing like making payments on an ATV that was stolen to convince you how nice insurance would have been!
