I don't know what to do. I'm either going to put a webb cam in my 300ex or sell it and buy a 2000 kodiak. I usually ride pretty fast, tight trails, lots of hills, mud sometimes usually can go around it,and water this fall that I might have trouble w/ on my ex. I kmow the kodiak won't be as fast as my ex but how much power will i lose if i get the kodiak. I heard the koiak is about the same as a wolverine but I'm hoping it will be a little faster than that. How much power does a cam give? I have a fmf pipe and a wiseco piston and my friend still beats me on his stock scrambler500 not by much though. I can outrun almost all of my buddies on trails. Does the kodiak handle good enough and have good enough suspension to go fast in the woods? Does anyone know the top speed of it? my ex runs right around 60. I rode a kodiak at a yamaha dealer seemed to acclerate pretty fast. Please help me

I would say stick with the 300ex. You sound like you like your 300ex. The 300 has a better high speed suspension than the Kodiak but the Kodiak has a better low speed suspension. The kodiak might handle the hills better, but it depends on how steep they are. That cam should let you keep up with that Scambler, it might even let you get alittle in front of him.
