Default Chain adjustment on TRX

My 1990 Fourtrax TRX 200 seems to have a lot of slack in the chain, how much should it have? It is also hitting my skid plate, but it could be that my skid plate is bent too, as that thing doesn't look right either. Anyway, how do I adjust the chain??? Thanks so much.
