recon es not shifting

Default recon es not shifting

my recon es is not shifting properly. the gear light blinks and wont shift . can any one help

mine did the same thing, i hate 2 say it but the cdi went out later on. I sold it and the guy called and said he jus put $400 in a new cdi unit. I dont know if its that 4 sure tho. But he said there is no problems shifting now.

How many times does the light blink before a pause? That number of blinks is your error code that you can find in your manual. If you don't have a manual buy one!!! It will be the best investment you ever make.

you may try tapping on the shifter with a rubber mallot or lightly with a wrench (located on the front of the engine) and see if it breaks free... if the error code says thats the problem.

sorry I'm late, but would everyone just read your manual- it should be your fuse, its GREEN. Replace it and you'll be fine.
