YFZ450 or TRX450r?

I bought a 2006 Honda 400ex about 4 months ago and am very happy with the performance, i put a DMC afterburner slip-on pipe on it, nerfbars, new handlebars, and a decal kit; although i have lots of fun riding it, its just not enough. When i first got it it was great and it did what ever i wanted to do, but in the past 4 months i have gotten much more of an aggressive and "ballsy" rider. The type of riding i do is way from ordinary, i hit hills and jumps that ive seen no other guy even attempt to try, im 16 years old and can out ride just about anyone that comes to the atv pit. (i live across the street from an atv pit) Anyways, i have been looking at the three 450's there are (and i hear articat is coming out with one too) and out of the three i either want the honda or the yamaha. Now i have always been a honda guy, but in this case its tuff, the honda has a single overhead cam while the yamaha has a double overhead cam, and from what i hear, the honda has more power then the yamaha, but the yamaha's engine is made for something like 14000 rpms ive heard, and that would be usefull having that 2-stroke feel to climb those huge hills. My cousin has a yamaha yfz450 and ive rode it and it is sweet, the downside is that ive never rode a honda 450r and so i cant make a accurate comparison of the two, so im looking for your input on this, what do you think and what would you do?
Any questions just let me know.

They are both great quads so dont think you can go wrong either way. If your a Honda guy Id go with the 450r. Another thing is if your cousin has a yfz 450 its always fun to have something different. I ride with a YFZ 450 and a Predator and part of the fun is talking a little smack when we stop for a break (all in fun) lol

I ride a TRX450 and have also ridden a YFZ450. The only real significant difference I felt while riding a friends YFZ is that the TRX suspension felt a little nicer. A few times on a bigger jump I bottomed out the YFZ and have yet to do that on my TRX. Also my TRX seems to respond a little better on the bottom end but the YFZ seems to pull more throughout the powerband. I agree with the above poster though in saying you can't go wrong either way. It's really down to personal preference on these two bikes.
