i think red looks the best (i have white) and white likes to get mud stains on it. i guess white would not show scraches as fast. If i were going to get new plastic right now i would get RED, after all "ride red"

Factory red fades to orange fast and white doesn't show rub marks or scratches. I am throwing away my maier blue and getting white for the 400.

My wife's 87 is red/white, my 86 is blue/white. The white will show dirt marks after some wear and they can be cleaned using soft scrub. My friends 88 is all red and usually looks great all the time. I have seen people use thin sheets of mylar over places of high contact, like along the fuel tank area. That helps with the wearing/scratching.
What color is most popular? Gosh, who knows? I do think the all red looks best, but that's just my opinion.

How much does Service Honda want? For front and rear, and if you know a nose piece. Thanks Dave
