2 stroke oil....
I just purchased my first 2 stroke ATV and I am not exactly sure which 2 stoke oil to run it on. I know I need to use a good 2 stoke motorcycle oil, the first oil I bought for it was Maxima Castor 927 but since I have to drive about 30 minutes away to a motorcycle shop to get that stuff I think I'm gonna switch off to Mobil 2T Racing Oil which is also 2 stroke motorcycle oil that I can get at my local auto parts store plus with the mobil I get a bigger bottle for a dollar more. So any ways any suggestions, coments, personal oppionions/expierences. They both seem to protect against the same things: piston scuffing, plug fouling, low ash, etc.....

2 stroke oil....
is that mobil oil you speak of a synthetic? is it Mobil 1? Mobil 1 is synthetic and would be great. I think all Mobil 1 products are great and are a cheaper alternative to Amsoil. I use the Mobil 1 gear lube in the front and rear diff's on my Rancher and after 400 miles The oil is clear like brand new yet.

2 stroke oil....
Yes it's a synthetic 2 stroke motor cycle oil and I believe it is Mobil one, I use their four stoke 10-40 for motor oil in all my quads as engie oil and gear oil and it hasn't failed me yet. I'm just looking for opinions, being that this 250r that I'm using it in is 20 yrs old I'd like to use a good oil for it. I picked up a quart today so we shell see............................
