im in Tn. and have a 2k2 300ex.
i got wrecked on a ride and my atv went down a bank. when i was gettin it up i have to keep it in first and peg it out many times just to get up the hill. well to make a long story short it messed up the motor. Honda here where i lived wanted 1500 bucks to fix it. they said the top end needed rebuilt. I took it to a nieghbor that said he could take care of it. well 2 months later i get it back. he charged me 600 bucks. i started and rode decent but there was no power like before. a week later it messed up again. Im kinda up a creek here without a paddle and dont know what to do...
i need a new motor but i cant find one.
Is there anyone out there that could give me some advice on what to do...or where to get a motor or where to get it fixed . i hate to put much more money into it because i could just get a new one for what ive put into it already.

so if anyone is out there that can help please let me know...

if theres nothing i can do. how much could i sell it for , for parts?

 

Check ebay for prices, ive seen total motors go for 250, but they needed some work. Figure about 700 or more for a no problem motor.
