Spark Arrestor Question
#1
I have a DG exhaust pipe that I found and I was wondering if it had a spark arrestor on it. I donr really know how they spark arrestors work or what they look like so I cant tell myself, but I uploaded two pictures so you guys could have a look and tell me. THANKS
Also is this a decent pipe at all, I picked it up for free and was wondering if it is something worth putting on my 300ex.

That thing is wide open! E-mail the pictures to DG, and ask them what you need to add back on.
It isn't always good to put just any old muffler on any old quad. My buddy got a "free" muffler and put it on his Warrior, and he lost all his bottom end power.

After go to the DG website and lloking at there products it seems that that is how they sell those mufflers. Mine is not missing anything, but I to get into Silver Lake you need to have a spark arrestor. This look like it will turn out to be an ebay item.

Most pipes have inserts that you can purchase to add a spark arrestor to your exhaust. You should check first to see if there are any that you can purchase for that specific pipe....although that thing looks pretty worked over anyway. Might just be the best idea to ebay it and get an all new one.
