what tires to get for my 300ex

The low end torque is better, using the 20 inchers. I can plug along at an idle in first, where before i couldnt. I have stock gearing ( sproket tooth count), and with my GPS ( using the top speed capture mode) , it consistantly will top out at 42 MPH. So, its gonna definetly be down in top speed from 22 " tires,. But the throttle response is quicker.

Uh.......you got it backward. With 22", you are RAISING your effective gearing. Top speed will be higher and throtle respones will be milder.
With 20" you are lowering your gearing. Low end power will be greater, but you will hit the rev limiter at a lower speed.

I have the holeshot HD's and absolutly love them, hook up is amazing. They are almost as good in sand as paddles believe it or not. They are very thick (6 ply) and only slightly heavier than the much weaker 4 ply tires (maybe 1/2 pound each more weight)
