Default Jetting 06 250ex. Help?

Okay, so I just ordered a White Brothers slip on exhaust. I'd like to rejet the carb to get the most out of it. Forgive me if I say something wrong but I am a total newbie at carb work. I think, from what I have read so far is that I should go to a 112 main jet. So what kind of Jet do I need? Do I really need to spend 50 bucks for a jet kit or can I spend just 5 bucks for the appropriate jet. Any advice, particulary from people with a White Bros exhaust, would be greatly appriciated. Also, who makes the carbs in 250ex?

Thanks

man another person form jersey thats really rare ...I would just buy the dynojet jet kit as it comes with the needle and main jet for your quad I would recommend ont going up one size from whatever the stock main jet is it will say on the jet itself...and then you will need to set the needle there are different setting's to clip the needle at...make sure you check your spark plugs to make sure that the mixture is running right and here are some sites that might come in handy. I don't know what the pipe calls for jetting wise but on the east coast jetting will be diff then from some1 at higher altitudes so just pay attention to the color of the plugs...I would recommend gettin an aftermarket airfilter(K&N,uni)
