The new 680's come w/ radials. should you put radials back on or like a set of Mudlites 6ply tire on it.
Is there a big difference????

it all boils down to preferance. I had a Rincon and preferred stock tires. I felt the mudlites were too stiff. Also they are much heavier. I raced my buddy once and I was running stocks and he was running with ITP 589s, at 25 mph or so it looked like he hit the brakes. If we both ran stocks he would beat me every time, i outweigh him by 100 lbs. So changing tires can drastically change your bike, sometimes for the good and sometimes for the worse. We ride in the winter on hardpack groomed trails, and with stock tires at 3 psi, I could pull away from my buddies with mudlites. They were in 4wd just to keep up in a drag race, and I would wheelie while pulling away. But in the deep snow where 4wd was a must they a lot more traction and could easily get through stuff that I struggled in.

If you are gonna use Mud Lites, buy some stock in tire plugs.

Do Radials wear faster than Bias tires?
Whats a med. priced radial tire to put on a rincon?
I like the DU wetlands or the carlisle A.C.T. radials also.

are the tires that come stock on a 06 rincon as good as the tires that come on the polaris?
i was looking at getting some carlisle 589's but if the dunlop radials are as good i can shop around for either.

Radials are supposed to provide a bit more compliant ride by the way they flex, and might have a traction advantage.

What kind of conditions and surfaces do you ride?

I understand Bighorns handle well and hold up to sharp rocks and sticks, but don't do that great in deep mud or in sand.

The new Terra Cross radials look like they might be a good all round tire...

Mainly ride on NY dirt, Creeks, trails, and plow in the winter time. Not much mud.
These R my pics;
Swamplites
DU wetlands (radials)
Carlisle ACT (radials)
Mudlite ONLY for the price

Highly recommend the swamp lites. Very good tire for about anything. ITP Mudlites are great for mud but thats it. Very heavy, rough ride, too agressive for trail riding.
