how do u do it and when?

 

I think the manual says to check it after 20 hours and then 100 hours. You basically pull the gas tank off, unscrew the two covers on the head and use a feeler gage to check the clearance. Adjust as necessary. It's not hard to do. The owners manual tells you how to do it, I believe.

I think the honda owners web site will have a manual you can download. The clearance is .005"
