My 04 TRX450r has a bent axle and I want to know if I need to get a new one. It doesn't bother me when I'm riding and I really don't even notice it, but if you're standing behind it when someone else is riding it you can definately tell that one wheel wobbles around a lot. I don't want to spend the money if I don't have to, but I can get a new one off Ebay for about $50 to $60 if it's nessary.

 

how do u know its not the rim?

 

If it's a bent axle, spend the money and get a new one. You will wear out bearings very quickly with a bent axle.

 

first i would swap the wheels from side to side and see if the wobble is still there. if so then i would get a new axle. good luck.
