Question 400ex Neutral light doesnt shut off?

Question 400ex Neutral light doesnt shut off?
I got 2001 400ex and the neutral light doesnt shut off!!! I know there has to be some type of circuit switch thats connected to the shifter but dont know where? Any info would be helpful, thanks
