I would def take the old stuff out and use cheap oil and let it run through the system then let that drain then after it seems like the water is drained out put in the good stuff...I would also check to make sure you didn't get any in your gas, carb, and anywhere in your top end...check over it carefully...O and most likely your exhaust has water in it so drain that also

when i drounded my sportsman 500 i ran automatic tranny fluid threw it 3 times, just getting the eng warmed up then chaning it out, don't worry about the filter untill your last time, to much $$. with it being a thinner viscoisty it smoked a little bit when i ran it, i can't rember who told me to do it but it worked for me, no problems. oh yeah before u take and run it, pull the spark plug and manualy bar over the eng to get all the water out of the combustion chamber. dont forget about your diffs and brake resivors due to there breather tubes that could have taken in water also, u man not notice a prob with them now but problems will plage you in the future. oh if any one has heard of the trannyy fluid, holla at me so i can know the technical reasons for it. well hope this helped weez6x6, it did for me but i also didnt' have a hydrostatic trany, so theres my 2 cents

does it start? if not u might have water in ur cylinder and case, if there is its bound by to much compression....if thats the case loosen the spark plug so theres no threads holdin it, hold the spark plug with a rag and turn it over a few times...water should shoot out the spark plug hole...might have to do it a few times. As for the oil, just keep changing it, and addin cheap stuff...run it for a little while, change it again etc. make sure no water is in ur airfilter, if there is pull the plug under the box, air dry ur filter, and spray it down with some filter lube. I had to go threw all of this when i almost lost my 660 grizzly in a river...was all fine till i hit a deep spot =p. the whole thing disapeared and i got it out by pushing it cuz it was floating...haha i dont think one part of that machine was dry...inside or out.
good luck!
