Default 2005 Rubicon 4x4

Hey fellas I am new to the board and I am looking at buying a 4-wheeler to use for hunting and maybe some trail riding but mostly hunting. I have owned Honada's all my life from a 250R, 300 Fourtrax, 300 Ex, and I still have an 1986 50cc that stills runs like a top and will still do 36 with me on it and i come in around 180. Anyway I am looking at a 2005 Rubicon its the automatic or you can switch to ES. It has 26x10x12 Mudlites on it with 4 hole ITP rims, and a warn winch. It also has 3 years left on the warranty. Anyway the price is between 6,000 and 7-000... I haven't looked at buying a 4-wheeler since 95 and really don't kno if this is a good deal and if the 4-wheeler will do what I want it to do. I will be in mudd and water on the regular and I have heard bad stories about the automatics, and what bout the ES. Anway info will be greatly appreciated. If this is as good of a deal as i think it is i will have to get on it b4 someone else.

I have a 2003 rubicon. it is a great bike. i use it for hunting and farm work. I was having a problem with the transmission but now have it fixed. mine has 2800 mile on it. but be aware if the auto trans goes out you are looking at $1500 to $2000 to get it fixed. Had i known this i would have went with the standard trans.

around here that would be top dollar. I think it's best to try and buy new. For that price, you can (06 is going for 5699). Be aware that the rear brake requires the usual drum maintenance if you're in mud, but a great atv.

and the tranny, its got D1 (auto hp mode) D2 (auto torque mode) and ESP which is the smoothest shift between 5 preset ratios (gears) you've ever felt. it's also virtually waterproof.
