If you were in a high elavation area I'd say yes. But if your looking for a better response clip your throttle spring. This doesn't hurt anything and really does help out throttle response. It takes about 10min. Just remove the top cap on your carb and remove the spring and cut off 10-11 coils and put the longer piece back. This is free. But if you really want more power then an HMF and filter are your best bet.

An HMF is a exhaust pipe. Kinda like putting a flowmaster muffler on it. An HMF pipe is ungodly loud but makes alot of power on these utility quads. Shortening the carb spring basically softens it. Its a vacuum carb and with the spring shorter it allows it to rev faster. It really does make one come off the line alot faster. Its the same thing Hotrodders have been doing to vacuum secondary carbs for years.

I have to go on what I read. So take it for what its worth. The HMF utillity series makes more power than any other pipe out there. I have a big gun and it made a nice increase and the noise isn't bad either. But a friends HMF really is making power. But its so loud you hate to follow behind him.
