Just a few questions regarding the DMC complete system: Is it true that it actually weighs more than the original equipment exhaust? Also, isn't the non-tapered dual header a bad thing? I thought that a tapered header flows better than a non-tapered header. Also, with more surface area to radiate heat, it would seem that the DMC dual pipes would loose more energy than a 2 into 1 header.

 

You will loose a little top end. But you will gain tons of bottom end. We ride mostly in tight woods and it works great!

 

Has anyone heard anything about the Double Barrel pipe? I was wondering if is anything like the DMC as far as restriction. I never hear anything about it. Is it junk?

 

the double barrel is bad, it isnt ear splitting dg style noise either,my friend has it on a macked out 440 and it will fly

 

I've never seen either one of those on a 400ex, but i have seen a duncan double barrel. It rocks. There isn't a 400ex out there that will beat the duncan double barrel. But it also has a stage 4jet kit, a k and n, and it bored to a true 400cc. It's not that loud, and it sounds great.
