if a honda 300ex is converted to a 330ex can the head and the headers still be used.

Yes, it is only a bigger diameter piston with an overbored cylinder. You will see more performance if you can get the stock head ported and use a bigger cam for a little more flow to match the increase in engine size.

I used the powroll parts and Kenz Cycle Tech ported my head.

I used the same big gun pipe that I've had on the bike for years.

A great 300ex mod is take the intake tube (between the air box and carb) from a 350X trike. This mod even took a lot of the cold bloodedness out of the bike.
