Please post your opinions on SLIME . I was going to buy some but for nearly 20.00/tire , I would like to hear some feedback first.

Since i never had it maybe i shouldn't talk, but i read somewhere that it works great but makes the tires vibrate at high speeds because it tends to sit on one side of the tire after the quads been sitting for a little bit.

I've used it, my buddies have used it. Seems to work great. Never experienced the vibration thing.

I have not personally used it, but I have seen a cheaper version at stores like Wal-Mart, K-mart, Target, etc. It should be $12 or less per tire. My brother-in-law picked some up on sale for around $6.

i use it with good results, lots of mesquite thorns in my turf. I do have tire balance problem and have confirmed it to be the slime. other than that it works great. if im not mistaken, i purchased 2 18 ounce bottles and applied about 9 ounces per tire. it costed about 20 bucks for both bottles at the local dealer.

i had it in the front tires on my blaster.

Made the front end shake all over!

maybe they put too much in? I don't know. But it scared me for using it again

I got a gallon on sale for $35.00. It was enough to do all four tires on my Kodiak with 16 oz. It came out to $4.37 per tire. So far I haven't had any flats or tire balance problems. I used it in my snowblowers tires and it cured a slow leak. Look around you may find it cheaper. I think it's good stuff.

Works good for nails & thorns through the tread. If something stabs or cuts through the sidewall, it may not seal. It seals by coating the inside of the tire with the 'slime' so its coverage doesn't go too far up the sidewall.

How much do you care about getting back out of the woods if you get a flat? I think that you should pay a little now and not have to worrry about it rather than going cheap now (by using less than enough or a cheap knock off brand)...That vibration thing i have never heard of, none of the reviews or articles mentioned it so i'm curious about that....I have slime in every quad i own and have had no flats, even after hitting some nasty stuff...
