any machine will bottom out in a big enough hole!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] but i think that a locker would help out in a situation were your back end is bottomed out, because with the locker your two front tires will be turning together instead of three wheeling!! just my two pennies!!!

I hear you foremanrich my forman es on loose dirt turns both front tires. but back to the question at hand, the foreman definatly has the power. Not to say that the rancher 350 i bought for the wife is not plenty of bike. i was verry impresed with the little rancher, I say small actualy it is a nice size machine. infact i thought if i had it to do over agin i would of upgraded her's to 4x4 and steped myself down to the rancher and saved about 800 bucks i could have used for them new terracross trail tires. But thats just me I dont try to do the mud thing i perfer the rocky trails of S. E. OK. I am still well pleased by the performace of the foreman. By the way get the es model you dont wana have to put your foot down in that mess to switch gears. good luck with your desision and happy rideing.

hey i have an 05 foreman with a 2 inch lift 27's and a 2500 pound warn winch and have only gotten it stuck once when i got high sided on a log and i have ridden the rancher a few times cause my friend has one and i would say go for the foreman and add a diff lock later cause i havent needed it yet but i am about to order one soon so yeh i would go for the foreman 110%
