450R Suspension
#1
I was just wondering what suspension setup ppl have and liked best for their quad(TRX450R).. I'm veering towards getting a whole kit. Maybe a Housier(prolly spelt it wrong) I go off some jumps, trying to hit bigger ones all the time, but mostly trail ride and tear around some local places. I'm looking for which one's ppl like/hate, reason's for why they do/don't. Maybe good places to check out and which one's ppl had a terrible expirence with. Maybe even cheap ways instead of buying a bunch of things. My buddy told me to try reversing the front tires and just drilling a new bead whole. Is that a good or bad idea. He did it to his banshee. It gives about a inch on each side. All input is appreciated. Give me all your thoughts!! Thanks in advance... Red

so all your friend did was offset his rims correct...thats a good way to give an extra amount of stability to your quad, but never go with spacers just to give you heads up...I was also looking at some suspension to upgrade on my 07 450r and I liked the housier(your spelled it right)slicast or roll design and would go with a +1 to be like a gncc type setup...I would also want to go with elkas and a wider axle...I was looking at the alba pro elite but aren't really sure how good they are, but they looked pretty cool.

Are you actually finding the stock suspension inadequate??? Sounds like you are wanting to widen it????
My buddies sent theirs to Works Performance and got them resprung and revalved for their weight, but Works said the stock hardware was just fine and it would be a waste of money to replace the entire units.
