Default Electrical Problem

Good day
I have a Honda TRX250 and I just replaced a dead battery. The electrics worked (as much as they would on a
fried battery) prior to its replacement.
After the battery was replaced, most of the electrics will not work (the headlights are only things that work).

The facts thus far:
The battery is fully charged (I checked)
The fuse is still good
Power makes it to the starter relay (checked that with my trusty volt meter)
The indicator lights do not work
The headlights do work.

Before I start taking things apart, has anybody encountered this before/have any suggestions where I can start
to find the problem?

Thanks in advance

Louk

Well is everything connected and connected tightly(ground, terminals, and any other wire)...Did everything work fine before the battery went and can you try popstarting it...There should be more then one fuse that you have in the quad so just check on that and make sure everything is connected tightly and has a clean connection.

Hey, thanks for replying.

All the connections that I can reach without taking it apart a tight.
I tried starting it with the pull cord - it didn't work. I doubt that
popstarting it would work if the pull cord didn't.
The schematic only shows one fuse.
I was sort of hoping that I had jogged loose a connector
in the wiring harness that somebody could point me to. It
looks like I am going to take things apart and tracking the
wiring to the point where I lose the power.

Tks

I looked at a wiring diagram for the 250ex and yes it only has the one 15 amp fuse but if nothing seems to really getting power besides the headlights my guess is either the new battery has barely any juice to it or one of the connections is dirty(maybe the fuse box has dirt in it)

You may not find the point where you loose power....But where you are no longer Grounded.........Does that make any sense to you????...Caper.........

Default Electrical Problem

Help,

I have had my trx250 2006 for about 1 year new rider. Ride it about once a month or so for a few hours if that. Has been sitting for about 3 or 4 weeks and I had trouble starting it last time. This time it would not start at all. Turned on with the choke, but as soon as I turned it off the quad turned off, then it did not start at all after that with or without the choke. What can rookie do to get his quad going??? Please help.
